Only few changes were made to Chevy Tahoe sport utility for the year 1999. Their lineups are offered with new exterior colors including Sunset Gold, Medium Charcoal Gray and Meadow Green. The Medium Mystique Beige has been abolished as well as the cargo net. The running boards remain as an option but now necessitate the reclining high back bucket seats. '99 Chevy's optional packages are consisting of Cold Climate Package, Comfort and Security package and Heavy Duty Trailering Package. A limited slip differential, engine oil cooler, and carpeted floor mats are also available as an option. All Chevy Tahoe 4-door models have standard front air conditioning, but come as an option on the 2-door models. Also, all 4-door models have rear air conditioning option.

 

Other standard equipment of 1999 Chevy Tahoe includes aluminum/alloy wheels, AM/FM/Cassette/CD Audio System, antilock brakes, automatic 4-speed transmission, automatic dimming rearview mirror, chrome bumpers, cruise control, dual front airbag restraints, intermittent wipers, keyless entry system, leather seats, leather steering wheel, luggage rack and power brakes. Power door locks, power driver seat, mirrors, steering and windows; privacy glass; rear window defroster and wiper; remote trunk release; split front bench seat; tachometer and tilt steering wheel are also included in Chevy's line of standard features.
