2005 Chevy Tahoe
 
A carry over from 2004, the 2005 edition of Chevrolet Tahoe is a 4-door sport utility vehicle that can seat nine adults. It is offered in two trims: the 2WD and the 4WD. Since its introduction, 2WD comes with a standard 4-liter V8 engine generating 245 horsepower and attaining 16-mpg in the city and 19-mpg on the highway.
 
On the other hand, its 4WD version is equipped with a standard V8 that cranks out 285 horsepower engine and realizing 15-mpg in the city and 19-mpg on the highway. Both models come with a standard 4-speed automatic transmission. The 2005 Chevy Tahoe 2WD and 4WD trims boast its AM/FM radio with seek, scan, speed sensitive volume, and 8 speakers; Auto-Reverse Cassette Player, CD player with random play; 4-wheel anti-lock brakes; and driver and passenger airbag with dual stage deployment.
 
To ensure safety of the driver and the passengers, both models offers passenger airbag cutoff sensor which is being activated by seatbelt engagement or passenger weight; automatic locking retractors, second row center 3-point seatbelt; Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH); 3-point outboard seatbelts and front center lap belt; and side guard door beams. For excellent braking and traction, th2 2005 Chevy Tahoe has standard AutoTrac, a selectable 4WD system; self-locking hubs; AutoTrac push button transfer case; front power 305-mm x 29-mm Ventilated Disc and rear power 330-mm x 30-mm ventilated disc brakes; and electronic brake force distribution. This vehicle also has independent driver and front passenger climate controls, second row and rear HVAC controls, manual air conditioning and Rear HVAC ducts located under seats. These standard features assure good heating, ventilation and air conditioning inside the Tahoe.
